Motivating Yourself

“I need an influx of clients.”

This is what coaches tell me all the time.

Okay…

Wanting the occasional boost is a given…

But what are they doing to make things happen?

I found out something:

Many coaches don’t move the needle in their businesses!

They’ll say they want new clients… but won’t actively do anything about it.

Is it hard to do it?

Actually, it’s easier than you think!

These coaches just don’t know how.

That said, let me share a quick blueprint you can use to land a couple of clients with little effort.

Step #1

Come up with a training session.

Even better, do a Facebook training to get some extra exposure.

The key thing here is to come up with something that you’re really passionate about.

If not, at least something you can do with your eyes closed. Something that takes little effort on your part to teach but offers great value to your audience.

Step #2

Focus on teaching your audience only three things - three impactful principles, concepts, or tips that can make a massive difference.

Think of it as three secrets of the trade.

Step #3

This step is the most important one.

Why?

As I’ve already said, coaches know they have to do things but they don’t take action. And often, it’s because they don’t have skin in the game.

So, this third step is all about getting some skin in the game.

With that in mind… I challenge you to go live on Facebook and announce the training session!

I know you haven’t built it yet.

You only outlined what it would look like.

But that’s not the point.

The idea is to get you motivated to take action.

By committing to delivering a training session before ironing out all the details, you’re putting your reputation on the line.

If that’s not incentive enough to go through with it, I don’t know what is!

Sometimes, as coaches, all we need is a little push.

If you don’t have anyone to rely on for that, you can always create the circumstances to nudge yourself in the right direction.
